Lucas gets a kick (literally, he starts to kick) out of seeing himself on the computer.  Here's a few poor quality pics courtesy of the old HP.

I also feel I should mention that the boy is rolling over right and left (once again, literally right and left...and front to back and back to front).  He had a few "one offs" and assisted roll-overs in the past month or so, but he officially is on his own now and has been practicing all weekend.  He also is living up to his "scootsie" nickname that Derek's friends gave him and scoots towards toys.  The boy's on the move!

Oops, I mean Happy Halloween!  You'd be surprised with the lack of costume choices for a 3 month old.

On Wisconsin!

I got Lucas all ready to cheer on the Badgers for the big game, but we ended up going to Pizza Ranch and missed the whole thing. Oops! The important thing is Wisconsin beat Ohio State.

Can you believe the Mall of America had a Badgers football uniform at Build A Bear? I debated a looong time between the Twins, Badgers, and Packers. Obviously, I chose the Badgers and the little helmet it came with happens to be (almost) a perfect fit for Lucas. He was very confused by the face thing and kept "tackling" Bucky because it threw off his balance.

I finally got the blanket I ordered from a girl on Etsy! It was worth the wait, I love it so much. I saw an LA Dodgers one she made and begged her to make a Twins one....and here it is.

Derek went to Madison this weekend so Lucas and I had fun hanging out and he spent a ton of tummy time on the new blanket. He is almost 12 weeks now and I can't believe how un-bobbley his head is getting. I guess the tummy time is paying off!

Day Two + Twins

Well, two days down and a million more to go of taking Lucas to "Mimi Daycare!" I had my first day back at work yesterday and surprisingly made it through without shedding a tear. Luckily I have 10 weeks of work to catch up on so the days have gone by pretty fast. The hardest part is waking up so early.....these past 2 days have reminded me how much I hate 5:00am!

We went to the Twins playoff game tonight with my dad and brother in law. Lucas was great and it couldn't have been a more perfect night (except maybe if the Twins would have won...) We just had to protect his ears from all the cheering at first, but by the end of the game, there wasn't much to cheer about....he was sound asleep from the 7th inning stretch until we made it home.
