Look who's climbing stairs!  Well, one stair at least.  Here's a progression of pics from my phone...it doesn't seem to capture the bobble head and shaky legs so sorry they're blurry.  You get the idea though.

 

Happy 6 Months!

Lucas has been sick hence the lack of updates.  He had a little cold last week and was better for a day or two and then got a relapse...including his first fever. :(  He's been miserable the last few days and we took him into the doctor last night.  The verdict is:  on top of the virus/cold he has, he also has PINK EYE!  So we have to pin him down to give him eye drops 3 times a day.  So sad!  He's starting to feel a little better today so we have our fingers crossed he'll be back to his old self in no time.

I left Lucas for about 30 seconds to grab his diaper bag from his room and this is what I came back to:

 I laid him down to put his snowsuit on and ran to get the bag quick.  While I was gone, he flipped over on all 4's and got his hand stuck in the hood.  He didn't seem to mind carrying the extra load though!

I just realized I forgot to make it a big deal that Lucas can now crawl.  A big fail for me as a mom considering it is my firstborn child.  So here it is.

LUCAS CAN CRAWL!

He finally got the hang of it on Monday and can't seem to get enough of it.  He still belly flops here and there, but  the boy can get across the room QUICK. His main interests so far are electrical cords, laptops, remotes, and those dirty little cracks by the patio door.  I guess it's time to pick up the slack on the vacuuming, baby proofing, etc.  I knew the time would come eventually, but it's a little sooner than I was expecting!

I'll try to get a video up here sometime this weekend so in the meantime, just enjoy the low quality pics I posted below.

We took a break from crawling to do a photo shoot the other day (simply because I was tired of chasing after him!) and wow, the quality of these pics is remarkable. (sarcasm)  But they made me laugh because it shows just how hard it is to restrain this little boy.  He loves to move and jump and literally THROW himself towards things (like my computer!)  Quite the adventurous little boy we have!

First time having oatmeal.  Ruling is: indifferent.

I had the day off so we both played with our new cameras.  Mine doesn't sing songs and teach me how to count, but I still like it!
